Shayla Wright is a lover of inquiry, nondual intimacy and awareness. She participates in life as a teacher, a master coach, a writer, and an evolutionary friend.
She has spent a lifetime studying and teaching inquiry, presence, and the transformation of consciousness. She has a Phd in nondual philosophy, is a certified coach, has a teacher training degree in Soma Yoga, and has completed an in depth training in nondual coaching and therapy with Peter Fenner.
However impressive these qualifications appear, do not be fooled by them! Almost everything she has learned, she had to unlearn. She had to say goodbye to all of her teachers, and find her own way, in the unfathomable wildness of life. She is grateful to all of them, and to all of the catastrophes and triumphs, and completely ordinary days that have brought her to where she is now. Which is nowhere--just the indivisible openness of presence.
She was engaged for the five years as a nondual coach, therapist and facilitator with Peter Fenner and the Radiant Mind course, with people from all over North America and Europe.
Her current focus is on supporting the full embodiment of effortless presence and wide awake love in the midst of human life. She offers a nondual approach to working with couples, and works with people all over the world on skype. She facilitates small groups and online forums who engage in inquiry, profound intimacy and ‘evolutionary conversations.’ She offers coaching, courses and retreats internationally, both online and in person.
“Shayla is a master coach. The breadth of her coaching expertise is outstanding. Shayla guides people through the challenges of being human, creating a career, and living fulfilling relationships in an extremely sensitive, powerful and loving way. She works in many modalities and at every level, including bringing people the “ultimate medicine” of recognizing their true nature. Every meeting with Shayla is informed by her wealth of life experience and her own uncompromising commitment to personal and spiritual growth. Shayla is an inspired and inspiring coach. I recommend her without any reservation.”
Peter Fenner, Phd, founder of the Radiant Mind Course
“I’ve both worked with and been coached by Shayla over the last three years through Peter Fenner’s Radiant Mind courses and the experience has been extraordinary. Shayla brings warmth, openness and compassion to any relationship, and excels at creating a space in which solutions arise in their own time and way. She has been incredibly helpful to me as I find my own path in this work and incorporate it into coaching other Radiant Mind students, group work, a blog, and the rest of my life. I am grateful for our relationship.”
Jeff Munn, Washington, DC
“Your gift, Shayla is in holding space and creating space, and in that space I always felt comfortable. That’s not true-I didn’t always feel comfortable, but I was comfortable enough with being uncomfortable that I could work with that. I allowed myself to become vulnerable on a whole other level. The group members have become more than family.”
Tim Barber, Nelson BC
“I felt a gratifying sense of presence over the five days with Shayla - but not until I arrived home did I understand the full extent of the transformation. My family recognized it instantly. Often I find myself striving to connect with my girls and often not succeeding. This time I felt completely relaxed, and fully present and we connected more deeply then ever before. Shayla’s teachings have solidified a life long passion to build my awareness and acceptance of what is. Shayla’s August retreats will continue to be a space for me to learn and celebrate this acceptance.”
Delyse Sylvester, Nelson BC
“For many years Ive been going to retreats and then coming back home and feeling disconnected from what I experienced there. I really appreciate working with Shayla, because this kind of work is all about our everyday life; it’s been great to feel that gap between my ordinary life and my life on retreat start to close.”
